Learning to see, learning to draw

These brief notes on learning to draw, arise from the classes of Drawing and Graphic Techniques that I taught in the course 2011-12 at the School of Design in Valencia, to 1st year of Degree.

With the disappearance of the subject “COLOR” from the degree programs, and moving to teaching drawing, it seemed appropriate and necessary to teach DRAWING WITH COLOR, trying to cover a space of fundamental knowledge for a designer.

The ideas presented here are the result of my personal experience as a painter and teacher, which sometimes differ from most drawing teachers.

The works I publish in these notes are from the last students I had before retiring from teaching.
